ProPresenter vs Proclaim: which fits your church?

ProPresenter and Proclaim are both serious church presentation tools. ProPresenter leans toward flexible production control. Proclaim leans toward cloud collaboration, simple team access, and church-wide preparation.

The short verdict

Choose ProPresenter if the live room is complex and your AV team needs deep control over outputs. Choose Proclaim if collaboration, cloud prep, unlimited seats, and a simpler handoff between staff and volunteers matter more.

Pricing shape

  • ProPresenter currently lists Standard around $289/year and Campus around $649/year for worship customers.
  • Proclaim currently lists On Air around $269.99/year, with higher annual tiers for Pro Media and Partner Media.
  • Both pricing pages change over time, so treat those as a planning snapshot and confirm before purchase.

Team collaboration

Proclaim is built around cloud collaboration and unlimited seats on paid plans, which can be excellent for churches where pastors, worship leaders, and volunteers prepare from different places. ProPresenter can collaborate too, but its centre of gravity is the production computer and room outputs.

Production depth

ProPresenter is usually the better fit for custom outputs, complex lower thirds, multi-screen rooms, and production-heavy services. Proclaim is often simpler when the church wants one shared worship presentation workflow without as much technical configuration.

Adding translation

Voco does not require you to pick a side. Churches can show a Voco QR code in either system, and AV teams can use display links in browser-based screen workflows for live captions.

Frequently asked questions

Is Proclaim cheaper than ProPresenter?

Entry annual pricing is broadly similar at the time of writing, but the value depends on seats, media libraries, and how many rooms or volunteers need access.

Is ProPresenter more powerful than Proclaim?

For advanced live production and custom output routing, ProPresenter is usually more powerful. For team collaboration and cloud prep, Proclaim can be easier.

Which is better for a small church?

Proclaim may be easier if several people need to prepare content remotely. ProPresenter may be better if one trained AV team runs a more complex room.
