Frequently asked questions
Does this work with YouTube Live and Facebook Live?
Yes. Voco appears inside OBS, vMix or Streamlabs as a browser-source overlay, so the captions are included in the video sent to YouTube, Facebook, your website or another streaming platform.
Can people in the room use translation at the same time?
Yes. One Voco service can power the livestream overlay and the QR-code phone reader together, so online and in-room attendees follow the same live sermon in the languages you enable.
Can the livestream show a different language from the room?
Yes. Each display link can use its own output language. A church can show English captions in the room, Spanish on the stream and offer additional languages on personal phones.
Will captions cover our slides or speaker?
You control the browser source position, size and theme inside your streaming software. Most churches place it as a readable lower third and save the scene for weekly reuse.
How long does setup take?
If your church already streams through OBS, vMix or Streamlabs, adding the Voco browser source normally takes about ten minutes. Test it with a real microphone before the service.
