You can try Voco with a phone or laptop microphone and an internet connection. For a service, a clean sound-desk feed through a USB audio interface gives Voco clearer speech to work with. Attendees need internet access on their phones too.
Voco provides live translated text. People read the message on their phones; Church and Pro plans also include display links for room screens, OBS and ProPresenter. It is not a spoken interpretation service.
AI transcription and translation can make mistakes. Clear speech and clean audio help. Word boost gives church names and specialist vocabulary a helping hand, but it does not guarantee a correct translation. Rehearse with speakers of your congregation’s languages and use human interpretation where accuracy is critical.
Word boost lets your team supply names, places and other specialist words to help speech recognition. The profanity filter is a separate safeguard for displayed text. Neither replaces checking your audio and testing with your team.
