How it works
Voco's display URL is a live browser page that updates as the sermon continues. Any software that can load a web URL as a source or web item can display Voco captions — not just OBS and ProPresenter.
vMix, EasyWorship, and StreamLabs all support browser-based sources. The setup is the same: build the display URL from the event Share tab, paste it into the software as a browser or web source.
vMix
- 1Build the display URLOpen the event Share tab and copy the display URL with your chosen language, theme, and size.
- 2Add inputIn vMix, choose Add Input → Web Browser.
- 3Paste URLPaste the Voco display URL and set dimensions to 1920 × 1080.
- 4Add to outputAdd the browser input to a mix layer or use the Title/lower-third overlay positioning.
EasyWorship
- 1Build the display URLOpen the event Share tab and copy the display URL.
- 2Add Web itemIn EasyWorship, go to Media, then choose Add Web and paste the URL.
- 3Set to loopSet the web item to loop so it stays live for the duration of the service.
- 4Send to outputSchedule it on the output or use it as an overlay layer.
StreamLabs
StreamLabs uses the same Browser Source system as OBS. Follow the OBS Browser Source guide exactly — the steps are identical. Add a Browser Source, paste the display URL, set width and height to 1920 × 1080.
Tips for all three
- Use bg=transparent in the display URL for clean overlay compositing.
- Use mode=lower-third and lines=2 for a standard broadcast caption layout.
- Test with a live Voco stream before Sunday to confirm the URL updates in real time.
- If text freezes, reload or refresh the browser source — the stream may have restarted.
