Wireless or lapel receiver setup

Use a receiver output when you want the cleanest single-speaker capture.

When to use it

If the preacher uses a wireless handheld or lapel microphone, a direct receiver output can be cleaner than room pickup and simpler than a full desk feed.

Checklist

  • Confirm the receiver output is feeding the USB interface or laptop input.
  • Set receiver and interface levels before the service.
  • Check battery levels and mute switches.
  • If a second speaker takes over, make sure their microphone is also in the Voco feed.
