Why audio quality matters
Voco translates the transcript it receives. If the source transcript is poor, translation will also be poor. Most quality issues are solved before the audio reaches Voco.
Good audio looks like
- Speech is clear and close.
- The level is steady and not clipped.
- Music and congregation sound are lower than the speaker.
- The signal does not include heavy reverb or feedback.
Admin audio settings
- Fast mode is the default for low latency.
- Enhanced mode can help with steadier sentence grouping at the cost of some delay.
- Browser-default audio processing is a good first setting.
- Echo cancellation and noise suppression can help room microphones but may hurt clean desk feeds.
