Live event checklist

A Sunday-ready checklist for admins and AV volunteers.

30 minutes before

  • Open the event in the Voco dashboard.
  • Confirm the right microphone or USB interface is selected.
  • Say one sentence and confirm source text appears in the admin transcript.
  • Open the QR page on a phone and select a target language.
  • Check the phone receives live translated text.

During the service

  • Leave the stream running until the red Stop button is pressed intentionally.
  • Watch the audio level and connected status.
  • Do not close the laptop lid or put the machine to sleep.
  • If text looks wrong, fix audio first before changing language settings.

After the service

  • Stop the stream.
  • Open the transcript tab.
  • Copy or download the cleaned transcript if needed.
  • Note any missed names or phrases and add them to boosted words before next week.
