Does the venue need Wi-Fi?
The device running Voco needs a dependable internet connection, and each guest needs Wi-Fi or mobile data to open the reader. Ask the venue about capacity rather than relying on a small guest network without testing it.
Can we print the QR code on the order of service?
Yes. Use the church's permanent Voco QR code on the order of service, welcome sign or place cards. Include a short instruction such as 'Scan to follow the ceremony in your language'.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code, choose a language and follow the live text in their existing phone browser. They do not create an attendee account.
Does Voco record the wedding audio?
Voco is built to transcribe and translate the live speech, not to replace the couple's videographer or audio recording. The church should keep its normal wedding recording arrangements.
Should we use Voco instead of a human wedding interpreter?
Use Voco when guests are comfortable reading live text and the goal is broad access at a practical cost. Hire a skilled human when spoken interpretation, exact nuance or personal support is essential for the ceremony.
